Joy and Resistance @ Doris Duke Center — July 21, 2025
On July 21, 2025, the Doris Duke Foundation hosted an important press and media listening event at the Doris Duke Center in Manhattan, celebrating Joy and Resistance, the visionary project led by GRAMMY-winning drummer, composer, and producer Terri Lyne Carrington together with GRAMMY-nominated harpist Brandee Younger - both recipients of the Doris Duke Foundation award celebrating innovation and risk-taking performing artists
At Brandee Younger’s personal request, Treble Clef Audio was entrusted with providing the sound for this event. Our TCA-M Active Loudspeakers carried the music into the room with lifelike presence, creating a listening environment where journalists, cultural leaders, and invited guests could experience the work as the artists intended.
For us, it was an extraordinary honour to be selected and trusted with this responsibility. To serve artists of this stature — in collaboration with the Doris Duke Foundation — reaffirmed our mission to create instruments of sound that honor both artistry and audience.
The playlist from the evening can be enjoyed here via Qubuz Streaming.
"Huge thanks to the Doris Duke Foundation for making space for this moment, and to @trebleclefaudio for that incredible sound — it truly felt like we were inside the records!"

“Though sitting off-axis to one side of the SRO event space, the sound was punchy, dynamic, and forthright. The TCA-Ms easily switched between the music’s varied sonic menu, remaining true and resolute throughout.”
